Olga Guerra
Olga Guerra created this piece after witnessing a public act of gender violence towards a woman from her husband. She called the police but had to carry on. Guerra felt very much guilty because she believed she hadn't done enough. So she created a well known "Wanted" sign, labled "potential femicide" in Spanish.
It seeks to take a path more related to the social condemnation of sexual offenders reported or not to prosecutors, the social condemnation is a complaint in itself and opens the discussion and the possibility of reporting institutionally if the sexually assaulted person wants to do so.

Curatorial text written by Hekatherina, translated by me:
"Bodies dressed in white. A brilliant sound that becomes a blow. Juxtaposition of the sound imagery of the body falling to get up with more force. Bodies that rise up affirmed to continue denouncing the naturalization of violence that governs and sustains the patriarchal and capitalist imperial system. Acting bodies, sound, subjectivities that become-interpreters-performers. A collective duel, a public duel that happens. Disassembly of sound and image to display sensible singularities, but what is art for?"
